Sablay si Catriona? CHED chairperson Popoy de Vera sinabing hindi nakapagtrabaho sa tatlong sangay ng gobyerno si Robredo!

Pinag usapan muli sa social media ang pahayag ni Commission on Higher Education (CHED) chairperson Prospero “Popoy” de Vera matapos magpahayag ng suporta si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray kay Vice President Leni Robredo.

Matatandaan na sinabi ni Gray sa kanyang social media na pinili niyang suportahan si Robredo sa pagkapangulo dahil sa siya lamang ang nakapagtrabaho sa “three branches of government” sa mga kandidato ngayon.

“A long-serving public servant, effective legislator authoring 79 laws, and active advocate for the agricultural sector, education, and national welfare, my vote for vice president is Kiko Pangilinan,” ani Gray.

“And my choice for president is Leni Robredo. She’s the only candidate with experience in all three branches of our government, judiciary as a volunteer lawyer, legislative as a congresswoman, and executive as a vice president,” dagdag niya pa.

Ngunit sa kanyang Facebook post, sinabi ni De Vera na walang alam sa three branches of government ang mga nagsasabi na nakapagtrabaho na si Robredo sa tatlong ng sangay ng gobyerno.

Ayon kasi kay De Vera ay hindi maituturing na nagtrabaho sa Judiciary si Robredo nang siya ay magtrabaho sa Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).

Nasa ilalim kasi ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang PAO na sakop ng executive department at hindi judiciary.

“1. Lacson served as Presidential Assistant on Recovery & Rehabilitation in the aftermath of Yolanda.  That’s an executive position. He was also Chief PNP during the Estrada administration. That’s another executive position.

“2. Moreno served as Councilor & Vice Mayor & Presiding Officer of the City Council. Those are legislative positions.

“3. Robredo is a lawyer and therefore has judicial background/experience? The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) is under the Department of Justice. It is an executive office.

“So 4 candidates (Moreno, Lacson, Marcos, Robredo) have the same experience across branches of government.” sabi ni de Vera.

Sinabi pa siguradong bagsak sa kanyang magiging klase ang magsasabi na nakapagtrabaho na si Robredo sa tatlong sangay ng gobyerno.

Ilan sa mga kilalang politiko na nakapagtrabaho sa lahat ng sangay ng gobyerno ay sina late senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago at dating Presidente Jose P. Laurel.

May ilang netizen ang sinubukan i-mention si Gray sa post ng chairperson ng CHED upang maitama niya ang kanyang inilabas na impormasyon.
